Need specific spaces for buttons? Perhaps you’re dealing working with unique dimensions for a viewing screen, or need a shape cut precisely to fit a piece of trim. Sometimes, a more custom approach is needed.

You’ll need to work with a converter to get just the right adhesive in the right shape. Your converter can work with both your expert team and ours to help you determine the best adhesives for joining your substrates, then convert our rolls or sheets of tape to the right shape and size for every part of your production line.

Metalworking and metal fabrication includes larger items like machinery construction and architectural panels, and smaller items like sporting equipment and metal furniture. Paint, dirt or oily coating makes bonding more difficult, while the second substrate may also be challenging to bond. 

3M helps you attach signs (highway signs, nameplates, vending machine windows, display cases and more) without mechanical fasteners. You’ll also be able to bond glass and certain plastics with virtually invisible bonds for better aesthetics, and resist bimetallic corrosion by keeping substrates separate.

Specialty vehicles (semi-trailers, box trucks, ambulances, fire trucks etc) need road-worthy bonding solutions to withstand weather, extreme temperature fluctuations and constant vibrations. Besides clean designs, they also require final structural strength to meet specific assembly challenges.
