3M™ Scotchcast™ M- Series Wraparound Repair Kits are a flexible cold pour resin system for the permanent jointing and repair of single or multi-core flexible power cables. The flexible resin bonds securely to the cable sheath, providing a permanent joint or repair with tight seal - a seal that won’t tear or work loose after installation. Only 3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame Retardant Electrical Insulating Resin 2131 is suitable for use with these kits.
3M™ Scotchcast™ M Series Cable Repair Kit offers a durable and flexible jacket repair when it is combined with a flame retardant compound. Both portable power cables and standard cables can be repaired using this cable repair kit. The wraparound mold included in the kit allows you to repair the jacket without cutting through the cable. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant and MSHA Approved (when used with Scotchcast Compound 2131).
