The 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Painter’s Back-up Pad is s a soft-density foam pad designed for sanding jobs in automotive body shops. It is excellent for auto body painting jobs such as following contours and sanding close to edges, while maximizing dust extraction.
Use 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Painter's Pad as backup pad for 3M™ Hookit™ Abrasive Discs. The 6-inch soft-density foam pad features a 15-degree taper for flexibility when sanding along contours or edges. It has 5/16-24 external threads. The pad works with 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding discs. The Hookit™ hook-and-loop feature makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment clean and easy, and facilitates use and re-use of the disc for the extent of the abrasive life. The Hookit™ system is designed for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris.
