3M™ Kerracel™ Gelling Fiber Dressing, CWL1032, 5 cm x 5 cm, 10 ea/box
3M™ Kerracel™ Gelling Fibre Dressing is a primary wound contact dressing with a high absorption capacity1* for the management of moderately to highly exuding, acute and chronic, deep or shallow wounds.
Made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibres, Kerracel Dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate2* forming a gel2* which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment. As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away2, peri-wound skin is protected helping to avoid maceration4. The unstitched design aids micro-contouring to the wound bed3*, minimising dead space where bacteria can proliferate*. Conformability aids ease of application1, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet2* helps to facilitate integral removal.
