Technology
Advanced aluminium and ceramic fiber composite core wrapped
in high temperature, hardened aluminium outer strands results in:
• Core strength comparable to steel and eight times that of aluminium
• Core weight less than half that of steel
• Core conductivity approximately four times that of steel and
half that of aluminium
• Thermal expansion of the core approximately one-fourth that
of aluminium and half that of steel
• Rated for 210°C/240°C emergency, 1,000 hours cumulative
• Creep lower than steel
• Core stiffness three times aluminium
• Excellent fatigue resistance
• No degradation through corrosion and other environmental factors
• Standard sizes, round or trapezoidal constructions for more energy efficiency
